SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović received today the Kuwaiti Princess Nawal Al-Sabah.
The Kuwaiti princess, who is with her delegation in a multi-day visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina, informed Mr. Izetbegović about great interest of Kuwaiti investment funds to invest in infrastructure, telecommunications and energy projects in BiH.
Princess Nawal is head of the Royal Investment Company, president of the Governing Board of the Arab-Egyptian Investment Fund, chair of one of the Arab League commissions, and UN Peace Ambassador on behalf of the Royal International Academy.
A part of the delegation from Kuwait visited Bihać, where they discussed the possibility of investing in the construction of the airport. In addition, the Kuwaiti investors have shown interest in a number of concrete projects, which will be discussed in the forthcoming period with representatives of relevant institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Mr, Izetbegović pointed out that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kuwait were friendly countries, that bilateral relations are good, but there is room for their improvement, particularly in the economy.
Mr. Izetbegović informed Princess Nawal about the great potentials offered by Bosnia and Herzegovina and emphasized that it was in the mutual interest to intensify direct communication between Kuwaiti investors and domestic institutions.
The Chairman of the BiH Presidency was invited to visit the Kingdom of Kuwait, the BiH Presidency stated.
