Zvizdić and Haradinaj agree on postponing the imports restrictions' decision

SKOPJE/SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić met today in Skopje on the sidelines of the First Digital Summit of the Western Balkans with Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and talked about current bilateral and regional issues.

Zvizdić said that peace building and stability in the Western Balkans remains a permanent goal of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that BiH will welcome and support every continuation of the dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo in order to resolve outstanding issues.

Zvizdić and Haradinaj also discussed the announced sanctions that Kosovo intends to introduce against BiH in relation to the import of milk and dairy products from BiH, and agreed to postpone the decision until the meeting of the ministries’ representatives, which will be held in the next seven days, when it is expected to find solutions in accordance with positive practice.

Zvizdić said that because of future generations, the countries in the region should head forward and strengthen friendly relations, build transport, energy and digital infrastructure, and systematically adopt EU standards.

Zvizdić and Haradinaj agreed to postponethe entry into force of the imports restrictions.
