SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Mektić met today with EUFOR Commander, Major General Martin Dorfer and talked about the security situation and continued cooperation between the two institutions.
Given that this was an inaugural visit, Mektić informed Dorfer about the security challenges and priorities in the work of security agencies in BiH.
The two also discussed the fight against terrorism and the initiated deradicalization projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region.
Both officials confirmed good level of cooperation between the Ministry and EUFOR, which is reflected in numerous joint exercises held in the past and support and assistance provided in cases of natural disasters and other.
They expressed commitment to improve relations, as well as the announced continuation of EUFOR support in capacity building and the work of the security agencies, stated the BiH Ministry of Security.
