SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Head of the EU Delegation to BiH and Special Representative of the EU Ambassador Lars-Gunnar Wigemark stated today he has not seen any internal or external documents or analysis that would indicate to any risk of armed conflict in BiH or the entire region.

Wigemark commented on statement of President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker, who warned in the European Parliament on Tuesday that EU must provide European perspective to countries of South East Europe to avoid repetition of war conflicts from the nineties.

Wigemark believes that Juncker stated his personal views and was probably speaking in a long-term context, that is, that the countries are going in circle, which does not contribute to stability of the region.

He also mentioned statement of Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn, who said that EU does not want to import instability, but to export stability they achieved.

Wigemark reminded of last-week's visit of five MPs from the European Parliament, who met with Minister of Defense of BiH Marina Pendeš, Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić, representatives of EUFOR during their visit to BiH and their official conclusion was that there is no risk of armed conflict in BiH.
