Movement 'Response' proposes a separate list for Posavina

FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, April 18 (FENA) - Movement "Response" proposes formation of a separate list for Bosanska Posavina due to "election mathematics and better election result", ahead of meeting of pro-Bosnian bloc in Prijedor.

"We believe it is necessary to make a Croat-Bosniak list for the election unit Vukosavlje, Bosanski Brod, Modriča and Derventa for the elections, with support of both pro-Bosnian blocs. Coalition would formally include local political parties, as well as political subjects which gather Croat returnees, whereas Bosniak political parties would have the right to have their own candidates on the list. On the other hand, Croat parties could nominate their candidates for the lists of pro-Bosnian bloc in other election units," said leader of Movement "Response" Ćamil Duraković.

"With a single list in area of the entire RS that would cross the election threshold- like it was the case with Homeland in 2014, such list could count on direct mandates in Prijedor, Doboj and Zvornik region, with two additional compensation mandates. Separate list for Posavina would get another mandate and we could form a joint caucus that would have at least six representatives in RS NA," explained Durakovic, Movement "Response" stated.
