Izetbegović meets with delegation of constitutional courts of BiH and Austria

SARAJEVO, April 16 (FENA) - Bosnia and Herzegovina's Presidency Chairman Bakir Izetbegović received today the delegation of the constitutional courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Austria.

The delegation led by the President of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina Mirsad Ćeman and the President of the Constitutional Court of Austria Brigitte Bierlein informed the Chairman Izetbegović about the good cooperation between the constitutional courts of the two countries within the framework of international associations, as well as intensive bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the collocutors highlighted the role played by the constitutional courts in each country, as well as the need to develop the judicial culture in BiH, which implies respect for and enforcement of court decisions.

Mr. Izetbegović stressed the generally good and friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Austria and expressed the satisfaction that both constitutional courts of the two countries were developing good relations, stated the BiH Presidency PR Service.
