SARAJEVO, April 16 (FENA) - Chairman of the BiH Council of Ministers Denis Zvizdić held a press conference in Sarajevo today to mark three years in power of the current Council of Ministers’ convocation and said that BiH has made remarkable progress on the European integration path in the last three years.
“We have met all our obligations from the European agenda of Bosnia and Herzegovina and at this moment, in addition to possible auxiliary questions to the EC Questionnaire, we have no other conditions before us. Therefore, we expect the candidate status and this has definitely been one of the greatest successes,” said Zvizdić.
Zvizdić added that if BiH is to continue in this dynamic, he is optimistic to say that BiH, in line with the new EU strategy, can certainly catch up the dynamic of European integration of the countries in the region, and also complete the process of the negotiation chapters by 2025, "which is a key, crucial goal that leads to peace, stability, prosperity."
“Peace and stability in the territory of BiH and the entire Balkans is a key objective, and not just BiH, but it must be the key goal of all Western Balkan countries.
It is a prerequisite for economic development, social stability and for prosperity of our region. Peace, stability and economic development, creation of new jobs and creation of an atmosphere in which young people would decide to stay in BiH,” stressed Zvizdić.
Zvizdić underlined that the biggest macroeconomic problem of BiH is still unemployment, job creation and continuous efforts to keep young and educated people in BiH.
