BiH Defense Minister Pendeš attends meeting in NATO HQ in Brussels

BRUSSELS/SARAJEVO, April 10 (FENA) - Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marina Pendeš attended today a meeting with Assistant Secretary General of NATO for Political Affairs and Security Policy, Alejandro Alvargonzález.

The focus of the meeting was an analysis of the results of the North Atlantic Council (NAC) + BiH meeting, held on March 15 in Brussels. Likewise, the collocutors emphasized the importance of as soon as possible activation of the MAP, bearing in mind the current political context.

Ms. Pendeš also met with Ambassador of Spain to NATO, Nicolás Pascual de la Parte, on the same day, with whom she discussed the implementation of the Defense Review as well as the activation of the MAP for BiH.

Representatives of the BiH Mission to NATO Ambassador Almir Džuvo and Head of the Military Unit of the BiH Mission to NATO Brigadier Jasmin Čajić and Advisor to Defense Minister Bojana Dimitrijević were also present at the meetings in Brussels, among others, the BiH MoD said.
