SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - The Islamic Community in BiH strongly condemns the chemical weapons attack on civilians in the city of Douma in Eastern Ghouta and urges the international community "to stop silently watching the suffering of the Syrian people," the PR Office of the Riyasat of the IC in BiH stated today.
Also, the BiH IC appeals to “all those who have any impact on the events in Syria that they put in the first place the welfare of the people there. Horrifying images of murdered children cannot be justified by any ideologies or goals. These images, as well as the many others we have suppressed in our collective memory, remain a permanent stain on the conscience of mankind”, the statement reads, MINA reports.
