BiH Court - Judgment announcement in case of Đorđe Simić

SARAJEVO, April 9 (FENA) - The judgment announcement in the case of Đorđe Simić has been scheduled for 10 April 2018, to commence at 12:00 hours, in courtroom 6.

The Indictment charged the accused Đorđe Simić that, during the period between May 1992 and the autumn 1993, within a widespread and systematic attack against the civilian non-Serb population in the area of the Doboj municipality, as a member of the armed forces of the Army of the Serb Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, knowing about such an attack, and being aware that his acts form part of the attack, persecuted the civilian non-Serb population on political, national and religious grounds, being aware that his acts contributed to the furtherance of common purpose of enforced disappearance of the non-Serb population, in the way that he took part in enforced disappearance of one person, the BiH Court stated.
