BRUSSELS, April 4 (FENA) - Eurocontrol General Manager Eamonn Brennan expressed his full support for all activities of the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina and BHANSA on the implementation of the Phase II of the Airspace Management Project in BiH with the ultimate aim of taking over the entire airspace in BiH by the end of next year.
Namely, the BiH Minister of Communications and Transport Ismir Jusko met today in Brussels with the General Manager of EUROCONTROL Brennan and the Management of this body and the BHANSA Management and presented the activities of the Ministry on the realization of the Air Traffic Management Strategy in BiH as well as the activities on the implementation of the Phase II of the Airspace Management Project in BiH.
Also, Mr. Jusko informed Mr. Brennan about the draft of the new BiH Aviation Law sent to the Council of Ministers for approval and the Draft Law on BiH Aviation Security Investigations, which is under preparation.
BHANSA Director Davorin Primorac presented the current status and plan of activities related to Phase II, ie the takeover of the entire airspace of BiH, to the participants of the meeting, while Mr. Brennan presented the key priorities of EUROCONTROL for this year, the activities plan until 2023, the movements in the air traffic in Europe and the relationship between EUROCONTROL and BiH, the BiH Ministry of Communications and Transport said.
