Indictment confirmed in Elhami Hoti et al. case for human trafficking

SARAJEVO, April 4 (FENA) - On 2 April 2018, the Court confirmed the Indictment under which the Accused Hoti Elhami is charged with the criminal offense Organizing a group or an association for the purpose of perpetration of the criminal offences of Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants in violation of Article 189a (1) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense Smuggling of Persons in violation of Article 189(1) of the CC of BIH and the Accused Fetai Driton and Samujel Šabani with the criminal offences of Trafficking in Persons and Smuggling of Migrants in violation of Article 189a (2) of the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina as read with the criminal offense Smuggling of Persons in violation of Article 189(1) of the CC of BIH

The Indictment alleges that the Accused Elhami Hoti organized a group in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of perpetration of the criminal offences of trafficking in persons, and that Đenit Rahimić and I.S. from the territory of BIH acted as members of the group since November 2017, and Driton Fetai and Samujel Šabani from Croatia acted as members of the group since early February 2018, and together with persons from the territory of Turkey, Serbia and France with the aim of obtaining illicit gain provided for an illegal stay of migrants from Kosovo, Albania and Iran in the territory of BiH, stated the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
