TUZLA, March 21 (FENA) – Today in Tuzla was held an Info Day, where the second public call "Challenge Fund for Innovative Business Ideas" was announced, supported by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (SIDA). The goal of the project is to contribute to stronger economic development in BiH, as well as to the strengthening of the cooperation between Sweden and BiH. There will be a total of six public calls, and today in Tuzla, the second one was announced.
“First of all, we need to prepare quality innovative ideas and create an innovative process or service on the territory of BiH. The effects of the project have to be in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Only those businesses registered in BiH and Sweden can apply to this public call,” said Asmir Kosovac, project manager at the Sarajevo Economic Region Development Agency SERDA, which has been conducting this project for four years now.
He points out that the program is intended for the real sector as opposed to previous programs where support went to public institutions or the non-governmental sector.
Businesses can apply with one idea, and non-governmental organizations as partners.
