After that, the Archbishop Metropolitan of Vrhbosna Cardinal Vinko Puljić, President of BC of BiH, also welcomed those present, Catholic News Agency reported.
" These days we will also consider people's leaving the country, as well as the despondency of clergy in this climate. I do not want to criticize, but to establish facts. We need to find the strength and courage to cope with the challenges of this time. I believe that the political insecurity and uncertainty are the biggest reason for the leavings ", Cardinal Puljic pointed out among other things, adding that he would pray for the power of the Holy Spirit so that the love of God would be recognized at this time in this region.
Cardinal Puljic underlined that that this "session should bring greater understanding, brave mutual solidarity and speaking out on the stay and survival, as well as a persistent struggle for human rights, human dignity and equality in these areas."
Within the session, the bishops will, among other things, hear the reports of the heads of the Council, the Commission, the Secretariat and the Catholic Press Agency of the Bishops' Conference of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as of the Mission Headquarters and the Papal Missionary Works of BiH. They will also agree on the topics for the next sessions of the u Bishops’ Conference of BiH, and refer to the current situation in BiH.
