DOBOJ, March 19 (FENA) – Why do we have prejudices, why do we doubt the truthfulness of someone’s statements and whether the ethnicity of the one who tells them has to do with it, were the topics of today’s workshop in Doboj, organized by the participants of the USAID’s project re:Generation, Ambassadors of Reconciliation, together with the Association of Students and members of the Youth Press Association.
The participants were tasked to discuss the existing prejudices, as well as the ways of overcoming them.
The USAID Project, re:Generation, implemented by the International Republican Institute in BiH and the Magacin Kabare Association, aims to educate and motivate young people to promote the reconciliation and coexistence of all peoples, especially among younger generations.
The Reconciliation Ambassadors' task is to organize creative workshops and activities in their communities, and thus influence raising awareness of prejudices and the necessity of reconciliation and joint action in their communities, but also outside of them, the organizers said.
