SREBRENICA, March 11 (FENA) - President of the Srebrenica Municipal Assembly Alija Tabaković told FENA today that he was glad that the day ended without incidents and thanked the Bosniak community in Srebrenica who did not allow themselves to be manipulated.
“I congratulate all citizens the Day of the Municipality. Unfortunately, we did not mark the Day of the Municipality as we did in the past, thanks exclusively to the policies that want to demonstrate might and power. I am glad that none of the Bosniak members of this local community attended the parade, but I also want to thank the representatives of the international community for choosing not to take part in these events in Srebrenica today, thus demonstrating that they do not accept mono-nationalist politics,” Tabaković said.
He stresses that he would like to have heard that RS President Milorad Dodik gave him a solid promise that this year he would allow Srebrenica to manage its natural resources so that the people of Srebrenica would not have to leave their homes.
