BiH Prosecutor's Office files indictments against ‘Zemun Clan’ aids

SARAJEVO, March 8 (FENA) - Prosecutor of the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption of the BiH Prosecutor's Office issued an indictment against Boro Gligić (born in 1969 in Tuzla, a citizen of BiH and the Republic of Serbia) and Igor Milanović (born in 1987 in Lazarevac, citizen of Serbia.

The defendants are charged with committing criminal offenses within the organized criminal group who committed theft of citizens' identity and enabled persons from criminal milieu creation of illegal CIPS personal documents, with the actual data of other persons, thus enabling the members of the criminal milieu from Serbia, Montenegro and Bulgaria, including members of the so-called 'Zemun Clan' with the false identities in at least 50 cases.

The operation of the judicial and security institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina led to detection and processing of the perpetrators of these illegal activities, which caused great damage to Bosnia and Herzegovina and the system of personal documents CIPS -IDDEEA, in the framework of the operation codenamed "Papyrus", and the illegal personal documents have been declared null and void.

The accused are charged with criminal offenses of organized crime and forgery of official documents.

The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH, announced the Prosecutor's Office of BiH.
