SARAJEVO, March 7 (FENA) - During the meeting of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović and BiH Presidency Member Bakir Izetbegović with the delegation of the Austrian Bishops’ Conference, led by its Chairman, Archbishop of Vienna Christoph Schönborn, the collocutors highlighted the strong historical ties between BiH and Austria, which are still being maintained today.
As they said, these ties are maintained especially through high-level visits, but also through the strong support that Austria provides to the European future of BiH.
The Members of the BiH Presidency expressed gratitude to Cardinal Schönborn for choosing BiH as the seat for holding the Bishops' Conference plenary session, which was a special honor for all peoples and citizens of BiH.
The Presidency Members also wished the Bishops' Conference successful work and thanked the Vrhbosna Archbishop Cardinal Vinko Puljić for his presence at the meeting, the BiH Presidency stated.
