SARAJEVO/OSLO, March 2 (FENA) - Alliance of Associations of citizens of BiH in Norway marked March 1, BiH Independence Day in Oslo.
Alliance of Associations of citizens of BiH in Norway is the most numerous organization which gathers BiH citizens in this country and one of its main tasks is marking relevant dates from BiH history.
Ambassador of BiH in Norway Nedim Makarević also took part in this year's program.
While addressing Makarević reflected on 26 years of BiH independence and challenges ahead, our unquestionable European and NATO path. He also stressed importance of BiH diaspora, which is very well integrated in Norwegian society and pointed to the problem of assimilation, which should be resisted.
Ceremony was held at "Litteraturhuset", one of the most attractive social facilities in the center of Oslo.
