SARAJEVO, February 23 (FENA) - Director of the Genocide Research Institute Canada (IGC), Emir Ramić, met in Hamilton with a distinguished member of the Canadian Parliament and a member of the Canadian-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Friendship Group in the Parliament, Bob Bratina.
On that occasion, he presented him the letter of the Canadian-BiH Communty addressed to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland asking for the reopening of the Embassy of Canada in Sarajevo.
Ramić emphasized that the reopening of the Embassy of Canada in Sarajevo would mean a lot for the much-needed democratization of Bosnia and Herzegovina's society and the state, the process of Euro-Atlantic integration, better diplomatic, economic, cultural and scientific links between the two countries, the IGC stated.
