SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović received today the letters of credence of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to BiH based in Budapest, Eniola Olaitan Ajayi.
Mr. Čović wished a successful mission to the Ambassador of Nigeria and stressed that Bosnia and Herzegovina wanted to develop good bilateral relations with Nigeria as a great country and a significant factor on the African continent, in all areas of common interest.
He informed her about the current political situation and the process of implementation of the reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina in order to integrate the country into the EU.
Ambassador Eniola Olaitan Ajayi expressed her satisfaction with visiting Bosnia and Herzegovina and said that she would work on improving bilateral relations on mutual benefit.
The collocutors stressed that the political relations between BiH and Nigeria were friendly, as well as the fact that there were no open issues between the two countries. The commitments of both countries, as well as the expressed mutual wishes for the improvement of overall relations, are a good basis for the beginning of the concrete cooperation.
Mr. Čović expressed his support and wished success to the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in carrying out the mission in BiH, stated the BiH Presidency.
