Presidency Chairman Čović receives credentials of Ambassador of Thailand to BiH

SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - BiH Presidency Chairman Dragan Čović received today the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to BiH, based in Budapest, Jakkrit Srivali.

At the beginning of the ceremony of handing over the letters of credence to the BiH Presidency Chairman, Mr. Srivali conveyed greetings of the royal family of Thailand and stressed that he would devote his mandate to strengthening the bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Thailand.

Mr. Čović informed Ambassador Srivali about the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a special emphasis on the Euro-Atlantic path of the country and the activities that are being undertaken to fulfill the conditions for candidate status.

The collocutors agreed that the bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Thailand were good, without open issues, and that there was a mutual will for their improvement in all fields of common interest.

Mr. Čović wished the newly-appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand a successful mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and expressed his belief that the overall bilateral relations would improve during Ambassador Srivali’s mandate, stated the BiH Presidency.
