SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dragan Čović at a meeting today with US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack said that it is important to overcome differences in opinions when it comes to amending the Election Law.
He noted that it is necessary to reach comprehensive and inclusive solutions that comply with the principles of the European Court of Human Rights judgments and consistently implement the decisions of the Constitutional Court of BiH in relation to the House of Peoples of the Federation of BiH Parliament, the Presidency of BiH and the City of Mostar.
Ambassador Cormack expressed the full support of the United States for key reform processes, as well as the support for strengthening the internal political dialogue in the country.
In addition to the reform in electoral legislation, Čović and Cormack discussed the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU and NATO integration processes, stated the BiH Presidency.
