SARAJEVO, February 21 (FENA) - Members of the BiH Presidency received today Admiral James Foggo, Commander of the NATO Joint Command in Naples, and General James Everard, Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces for Europe.
Members of the Presidency of BiH informed the guests about the current situation in the country, with particular emphasis to the implementation of the reforms.
It was also noted that additional efforts are being made to overcome obstacles and to move further with the necessary reforms.
Also, they expressed satisfaction with the progress made in the defense reform process, in particular regarding the adoption of the Defense Review document.
Some of the topics covered at the meeting attended by EUFOR representatives as well, was BiH's participation in peacekeeping missions in the world, the need for better equipping of the BiH Armed Forces to be able to assist the civilian population, assistance in demining and the creation of a stable and secure environment.
The commitment and support of NATO and EUFOR to the reform path of Bosnia and Herzegovina was reiterated once again.
The BiH Presidency members thanked for the support provided so far and expressed hope that good cooperation will continue in the future, said the BiH Presidency.
