BANJA LUKA, February 21 (FENA) - A member of the Homeland Coalition in RS Admir Čavka, at a session of the National Assembly of RS called for resolving the problem of using the Bosnian language in this BiH entity, saying that this should not be a cause for political misuses.
“The Bosnian language is not a problem in Serbia, but it is in this BiH entity. However, in RS, it is a matter of pure populism and there was no political will to resolve this issue,” said Čavka at the beginning of today's session of the entity parliament, which is considering the Bill on Secondary Education.
He demanded that the Constitution be respected, pointing out that the children in Vrbanjci near Kotor-Varoš are forced to attend instructive classes in the elementary school in Tešanj, and then return to the secondary school in Kotor-Varoš where they are prohibited from studying the Bosnian language.
He also called for ending the misuse of children when it comes to this problem.
Čavka also pointed out that the Bosniak people have difficulties to get employed in the entity.
