SARAJEVO, February 20 (FENA) - Chairperson of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Borjana Krišto met with Head of the Policy and Planning Section at the OSCE Mission to BiH Joeri Maas and discussed the Law on Conflict of Interest in Governmental Institutions of BiH advantages and flaws of the current law, and possible new laws, PR Office of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly stated.
Chairperson Krišto emphasized that Commission for Deciding on Conflict of Interest operates based on the existing law on conflict of interest in BiH institutions and makes relevant decisions. When it comes to new laws, Krišto emphasized she will always advocate systematic and fair legal solutions.
They agreed that focus in every law that concerns conflict of interest should be on prevention, not repression.
