SKOPJE/SARAJEVO, February 15 (FENA) - Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Macedonia, Lepa Babić, met today in Skopje with Deputy Prime Minister of Macedonia in charge of European affairs, Bujar Osmani.
The two officials talked about the European integration process of the two countries and the entire region.
They welcomed the EU Enlargement Strategy for the Western Balkans and stressed that the document clearly states that the Western Balkans is a part of Europe, and that the perspective of EU membership for all the countries has been unequivocally highlighted.
Both sides assessed that the exchange of visits at the highest level in the past period was the proof of the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries, and they talked about the potential visit by Deputy Prime Minister Osmani to BiH, as well as the prospects for exchanging experiences in the field of IPA funds, as Osmani is also the national IPA coordinator.
Osmani and Babić also welcomed the activities on expansion of the legal framework for cooperation, and in this respect they stressed the importance of the signed Cooperation Agreement between the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Government of Macedonia in the process of EU accession, stated Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH.
