FENA Press release

ANKARA/SARAJEVO, February 15 (FENA) – FBiH Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Edin Ramić is on a working visit to Turkey’s capital, at the invitation of Ahmet Eşref Fakıbaba, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock.

Mr. Ramić and Mr. Fakıbaba held a working meeting, which was also attended by the Ambassador of BiH to the Republic of Turkey, Bakir Sadović.

The participants of the meeting discussed the continuation of support that Turkey provides for the returnee population through cooperation with BiH institutions in the field of agricultural production and placement of agricultural products from returnee communities to the Turkish market.

“The Government of the Republic of Turkey has constantly been committed to projects supporting the returnee population, on the basis of friendly relations between our two countries,” said Mr. Ramić.

He added that today’s meeting confirmed the continuity of successful cooperation between the two countries’ institutions, where “we are always trying to focus on concrete projects”.

Mr. Fakıbaba said that the Turkish side would offer to BiH institutions their own experiences in the development of marginalized and undeveloped communities and will pay special attention and support to returnees in trade agreements with BiH, stated the FBiH Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees.
