FENA Press release

SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - The Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo (EFSA), under the auspices of the Council of Ministers of BiH, is organizing the second BiH Economic Forum in Sarajevo tomorrow, aiming to establish a dialogue and improve the economic and business environment in BiH and the region.

“This is a result of our effort to open a dialogue between the executive and legislative authorities, the real sector and the academic community alongside the fulfillment of our core mission of contributing to the wider community in BiH,” told FENA the EFSA Vice-Dean for teaching and international cooperation Jasmina Selimović.

This year the Forum will gather 500 participants, including representatives of governments, academic and business communities.

The Economic Forum is divided into four panels at which a number of topics will be discussed, as Selimović said, and those that are the most interesting for the current situation in BiH have been selected.

The Economic Forum 2018, as far as participants from the academic community from the region are concerned, among others, will be attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana, one of the top 100 schools of economics in the world, as well as representatives of the faculties of economics in Belgrade, Zagreb and Skopje.

The Forum will be held at the Holiday Hotel, and will be opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Sarajevo, Professor Kemal Kozarić, the BiH Council of Ministers Chair Denis Zvizdić and EU Special Representative and Head of the EU Delegation to BiH Lars Gunnar Wigemark.
