SARAJEVO, February 14 (FENA) - Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH Bruce Berton finds that education system "two schools under one roof" was established with best intentions, but it should not have remained a permanent condition.

He emphasized a case in Jajce as a positive example, where pupils protested against segregation and drew attention of the international community.

"OSCE is implementing many activities on local level and that work is not always mentioned publicly but it is very important, because we are working on a dialogue that will bring changes after a certain period of time," Berton stated in Sarajevo today.

He also emphasized the issue of Bosnian language in Republika Srpska is unconstitutional and that he will speak about this matter when he meets with authorities from RS.

Berton added that one of the problems is existence of individual cantonal ministries of education and Ministry of Education and Science of FBiH which is not that influential to change some of the policies.
